Modular Studio Cube

A sturdy, minimal storage unit that declutters my space and doubles as a seat.

2024

A clutter-free environment fosters a clear mind—that’s the idea behind the modular storage unit I built for my studio. Designed to meet both aesthetic and practical needs, it measures 1200 x 900 mm, stands 480 mm tall, and features lockable wheels for effortless mobility.

The unit’s robust construction includes a sturdy inner wooden frame and a 12mm multiplex finish, combining durability with a modern, minimalistic look. It has two compartments: an open shelf for books and a concealed 900 x 900 mm storage area beneath a removable lid. Two cut-out handles in the lid provide easy access to the hidden compartment.

Versatile and adaptable, this modular piece can function as storage, a mobile workspace, or even extra seating with the addition of a cushion. It’s a simple, functional solution that brings order and flexibility to my studio.
